About The Faculty

Our Faculty of Health Sciences was established in 2017 with the aim of providing human resources in important areas needed by the rapidly developing health sector in our country. It met its first students during the Fall Semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. In addition to the Child Development and Occupational Health and Safety Departments opened during the establishment phase, our faculty expanded its capacity by including the Nursing, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, and Nutrition and Dietetics departments in 2018. It continues to increase its contributions to health sciences and the sector by enhancing its impact.

Special emphasis has been placed on the balance between practical application and theory, and significant concepts and approaches have been taught, along with a wide range of real-life experiences and practical examples. Our fundamental approach is to provide students with an interactive learning environment, rich course materials, internship, and research opportunities, thus creating a supportive learning environment.

Our faculty aims to nurture individuals who possess professional competence, a lifelong curiosity for learning, scientific thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, sensitivity to societal issues, and commitment to cultural and ethical values.
