About Vocational School

Countries gaining momentum in science and technology are allocating significantly more resources to science and technology-focused investments than in the past, with the aim of closing the gap with developed countries, generating economic value, and sustainably improving quality of life. One of the most critical pillars of these investments is the development of qualified human resources.

One of the concrete and powerful examples of this vision is Gedik Vocational School, established by the Gedik Education and Social Aid Foundation to train individuals equipped with professional knowledge and skills that meet international standards in the areas where our country has the greatest need. Our College, a joint product of faith, hard work, dedication, and trust, was established in 2010 by philanthropist Halil Kaya Gedik, recipient of the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Medal and Certificate of Distinguished Service.

Our Vocational School, which began its educational life in the 2011-2012 academic year with five programs, currently offers a total of 29 programs in the fields of health, social sciences, and technical sciences. Our School, which pursues its institutional growth not through unplanned expansion but in line with the principles of needs analysis, sector expectations, and quality assurance, is accelerating its development day by day.

In this process, we have adopted not only increasing the number of programs but also establishing an accreditation and quality-focused education approach as a corporate priority as our fundamental approach. With our work based on national and international accreditation standards, we aim to make the outcomes of our education programs traceable, measurable, and continuously improvable, integrating a culture of quality assurance into all our academic and administrative processes.

At our Vocational School, we are determined to continue educating our students to become individuals who embrace contemporary and universal values, can integrate theoretical knowledge with practical skills, use their knowledge and competencies for the benefit of society and humanity as well as their own development, and are competent, confident, and have leadership potential in their field.
