Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Shine at MTCON’25 with Science

The 6th Conference on Managing Tourism Across Continents (MTCON’25) was hosted by Istanbul Gedik University and coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç and Asst. Prof. Ela Nazlı Köz from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts. The congress, organized under the leadership of TUADER (Tourism Academics Association), took place between April 30 and May 3, 2025, at Topkapı Eresin Hotel.

The congress, attended by participants from 55 different countries, featured 203 paper presentations and 35 poster presentations. In the congress, which embraced interdisciplinary approaches, Istanbul Gedik University academic staff and graduate students delivered oral and poster presentations on current topics. The presented studies are listed below:
