COFFEE WORKSHOP EVENT HELD!
As part of the “Beverage Culture” course conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç and assisted by Research Assistant Seray Evren, an in-class event titled “Coffee Workshop” was held on May 14, 2025.
During the workshop, coffee beans from Kopi Luwak, Sumatra, Guatemala, Indonesia, Colombia, and Ethiopia were ground by students, followed by practical applications using various brewing methods.
As part of the applications, Turkish coffee was prepared using a cezve and a coffee machine. In addition, modern brewing techniques such as V60, Chemex, Moka Pot, Aeropress, and French Press were also practiced.
