My name is Adlan. I am 18 years old and I am from Kazakhstan. I am studying Turkish Preparatory at Istanbul Gedik University TÖMER. When I arrived, I didn’t know Turkish, but Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC’s lessons enabled me to learn Turkish for a free life in Turkey. My teacher teaches Turkish well. Even though she didn’t speak my language, she taught me to speak Turkish.

I started at Istanbul Gedik University in 2022 with the Turkish Preparatory Program. I am from Uzbekistan, my profession is a lawyer, and I am 43 years old. I enjoy reading historical books and watching historical series. My wife is a housewife, and my eldest daughter is a student at Üsküdar University. My two younger daughters and my son are also students. I am currently a Master’s student in Law at Istanbul Gedik University. I learned Turkish very well at TÖMER. There are wonderful teachers at TÖMER. In addition, our teacher, Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, is very knowledgeable and disciplined. I am proud of my teacher.
I started at Istanbul Gedik University in 2022 with the Turkish Preparatory Program. I am Iranian and 57 years old. My hobbies are walking, chess, and solving sudoku puzzles. I also enjoy watching historical and social series. My wife is a housewife and we have two children. I am currently a graduate student in Business Administration at Istanbul Gedik University. Before starting my studies, I need to take a Turkish language course. That’s why I’m currently attending TÖMER. There are some wonderful people in my class. Our instructor, Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, is very warm, knowledgeable, and disciplined.

I chose Turkey for my education and to live there. But it was really difficult when we didn’t know the language. In the 2021-2022 academic year, I studied the Turkish Preparatory Program at Istanbul Gedik University. We are very satisfied because it has a very good method. We learned Turkish very well because our teachers gave fun and energetic lessons. Learning Turkish well played a big role in my university choice. I am studying in the Architecture Department, and I am very happy that I no longer have any language problems. I made the right decision to learn in the right place.
