Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Academics Participated in EGCON

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç and Research Assistant Seray Evren from the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts at Istanbul Gedik University participated in the Experiential Gastronomy Congress (EGCON), held on May 16–19, 2025, hosted by Hatay Mustafa Kemal University.

At the congress, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç and Research Assistant Seray Evren delivered an oral presentation of their jointly prepared paper titled “The Use of Artificial Intelligence in Personalized Menu Design.” The study attracted attention for its focus on AI-supported solutions in gastronomy applications.

In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Yarmacı Güvenç served as a session chair, contributing to the scientific program of the congress.
