2nd Annual SFL Debate – Event Recap

Istanbul Gedik University’s School of Foreign Languages held its 2nd Annual Debate on Wednesday, 28 May, at the Kartal Campus as part of our program to boost students’ public-speaking skills in English.

Students sparred over the big question: “Traditional careers or influencer careers—which matter more?” Four-member Team Traditional Careers and Team Influencers went head-to-head across four rounds—Opening Statements → Cross-Examination → Rebuttal & Evidence → Closing Summaries.
