“Communicative Approach in ELT” Training at School of Foreign Languages

On October 19, 2025, the School of Foreign Languages at Istanbul Gedik University hosted a professional development training session titled “Communicative Approach in ELT” conducted by Dr. Mustafa Polat.
The training focused on the fundamentals of the communicative approach, student-centered teaching strategies, and techniques to enhance classroom interaction.
Throughout the session, instructors shared examples from their own classroom practices, contributing to an engaging and reflective discussion.
The event enriched our faculty’s pedagogical repertoire and provided innovative ideas for fostering students’ communicative competence in English language teaching.
