Technical Visit to Diniz Adient
A technical visit was organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering at our university for students of Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Industrial Engineering. As part of the visit, the students had the opportunity to tour the Diniz Adient company where automotive seats are manufactured. The visit enabled students to observe production processes on-site and gain insight into various industrial applications. During the visit, company representatives provided a comprehensive introduction to the production processes. Students observed different manufacturing methods used in the production of automotive seats and gained detailed information about the operation of the production line. In particular, welding cells integrated with automation systems attracted attention as important technological applications that enhance production efficiency. Within the scope of the technical visit, students not only examined the production processes but also had the opportunity to observe the administrative structure of the factory and its production management approach. Lean manufacturing principles implemented on the shop floor, occupational safety practices, and organizational methods such as 5S aimed at improving workplace order and efficiency were also observed during the visit.
