Digital Education Advantage in Our International Trade Department

Istanbul Gedik University continues to strengthen its industry collaborations, preparing students one step ahead for the business world. Within this scope, a special training program was organized in cooperation with Evrim Software, a pioneer in digital transformation in the international trade sector. During this program, digital systems used in foreign trade processes were introduced to students in our International Trade and Finance (English), International Trade and Logistics (English), and International Trade (English) programs.

The training covered in detail the software modules developed by Evrim Software, which are actively used by many foreign trade companies across Turkey. Topics such as how customs procedures are conducted digitally, integration processes with ERP systems, automatic data transfer, declaration preparation, workflow tracking, accounting operations, and digital archiving were addressed. This training provided participants with the opportunity to start their careers fully prepared after graduation.

Thanks to this hands-on training, students had the chance to observe software solutions for foreign trade and customs processes firsthand and to become familiar with the systems they will encounter in the professional world.
