The Doctorate Program in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the Istanbul Gedik University enables our students to acquire high-level theoretical knowledge and skills, develop their skills to conduct independent research and lead research teams, and thus reach a level that will contribute to science in the country and abroad. For this reason, it is among our aims to provide our students with the ability to identify, define, collect, analyze and interpret social, economic and political problems with rich course contents and to apply appropriate scientific methods specific to these purposes.
This program is open to anyone who has a master’s degree or an equivalent education abroad and is aware of the necessity of lifelong learning. Our graduates can work as district governors, administrative judges, diplomats, specialists, inspectors, administrators, and academicians.
