Considering that construction needs of human beings will never end, there is no doubt that the job opportunities of construction technicians will not decrease and will always increase. In this sense, the graduates of this department have great advantages over many departments.
The construction sector is in a continuous and dynamic development due to the rapidly changing market and competitive conditions at the global level. Because of these characteristics, the construction sector draws close attention of countries as a strategic sector and special plannings are made by the states for this sector. Especially in the rapidly globalizing business world, competition is getting intense and industrialized countries are implementing special policies to protect this sector and improve competitiveness. Since the construction sector is the locomotive of all economies, it is always a pivotal sector where significant incentives and investments are inevitable. Therefore, construction sector will play an important role in employment growth.
Our basic goal is to train the technical staff who have the basic background in the construction sector, have the necessary professional background, have the necessary language and communication skills, have enough basis to take engineering education and have the professional ethics consciousness.
In order to prepare the student better for his / her business life, I am of the opinion that the staff of the academician composed of expert civil engineers who have gained much experience in their professional life has a very important role. From this point of view, along with theoretical knowledge, me and my dear colleagues intend to pass on the practical information you may encounter in business life.
In the turning point of your life, making the right decision in your choice of profession that your choices will affect your lives, I wish you a career that you can really work with enthusiasm.
I am very happy to share with you this two-year period that will be an important start in your career life. Although this period seems short for learning a profession, I believe that we will use this period in the most efficient way together.
