About the Program

The Civil Aviation Management Program is an associate degree program that aims to train qualified mid-level personnel who can take part in managerial and operational processes required by the rapidly developing aviation sector.

The mission of the Civil Aviation Management Program is to contribute qualified human resources to the aviation industry by training innovative and solution-oriented professionals who possess the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies in civil aviation; can effectively use technologies suitable for modern requirements; and are well-versed in sectoral regulations and international standards.

Vision

The vision of the program is to become a preferred and exemplary educational program in the aviation industry by training individuals who can adapt to the development of the global aviation sector, follow technological innovations, adopt lifelong learning, and are equipped with contemporary knowledge and skills.

Objectives

The primary objective of the Civil Aviation Management Program is to train qualified mid-level personnel who are competent in management, organization, and business administration—capable of working both nationally and internationally in response to the needs of the aviation industry.

  • To train individuals who can take part in planning, organization, and management processes in fields such as airline transportation, airport management, and ground services.
  • To produce professionals well-versed in aviation regulations, international rules (ICAO, IATA, etc.), and safety procedures.
  • To train individuals who possess technological knowledge, communication skills, and foreign language proficiency suitable for the dynamic nature of the aviation industry.

Goal

The main goal of the Civil Aviation Management Program is to train responsible individuals with strong communication skills, ethical values, and the knowledge and abilities required by the aviation sector.

The program aims to teach students civil aviation regulations, national and international aviation rules, and provide theoretical and practical knowledge about airport and airline management.

It also focuses on developing key industry competencies such as foreign language proficiency, teamwork, customer satisfaction, and service orientation.

Additionally, the program encourages graduates to be employed effectively in both the public and private sectors and to continue their academic careers by transferring to undergraduate programs through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
