September 2: Information Regarding the English Proficiency Exam for Graduate Students
Dear Students,
The English Proficiency Exam (İYS) for newly enrolled graduate students will be held on September 2. Students who score 60 and above are exempt from the English Preparatory Program. Those who score below 60 will be placed into the B1 level.
Exam Schedule & Structure

Session 1 (1 hour 40 minutes): Multiple-choice test assessing Listening, Reading, and Use of English (Grammar).

Break: 20 minutes.

Session 2 (40 minutes): Writing assessment.

Break: 20 minutes.

Session 3: Speaking assessment.
You must be present on campus between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. You may leave once you complete your speaking exam.
Important Note: Latecomers will not be allowed into the classroom until the listening section has ended and will not be permitted to take the listening part of the exam. You are strongly advised to be at the exam venue by 9:30 AM.
