Workshop on Current Issues and Solution Proposals in Teaching Turkish to International Students

The workshop titled “Current Issues and Solution Proposals in Teaching Turkish to International Students” was held on April 17, 2026. Within the scope of the workshop, Assist. Prof. Nerma ZAIMOVIC, Director of IGUN-TOMER, participated in the first roundtable session and contributed with her insights and recommendations based on field experience.

During the session, current issues encountered in teaching Turkish to international students -particularly in the areas of speaking and writing skills- were discussed, and practical as well as academically grounded solution proposals were shared.
