Seminar for Turkish Preparatory Centers at IGUN-TOMER

Istanbul Gedik University Turkish Education Application and Research Center (IGUN-TOMER) organized an online seminar on 17 July 2025 titled “Standards and Accreditation Studies for Turkish Preparatory Centers: The DODAK Example.”

The invited speaker, Prof. Dr. Nezir TEMUR, Chairman of the DODAK Board and Director of Gazi University TOMER, provided detailed information on the association’s activities since its establishment and the evaluation and accreditation processes for Turkish teaching centers.

The seminar was moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, Director of IGUN-TOMER. During the event, participants were informed about DODAK’s assessment criteria, application processes, and quality standards.

IGUN-TOMER stated that similar events will continue to be organized with the aim of enhancing institutional quality and disseminating best practices in teaching Turkish as a foreign language.
