New Year’s Celebration at IGUN-TOMER

Istanbul Gedik University Turkish Education Application and Research Center (IGUN-TOMER) held a colorful and entertaining New Year’s activity with the participation of international students studying at different levels. In the activity, where intercultural interaction was at the forefront, students both practiced their Turkish and shared the joy of the New Year together.

Students decorated the New Year’s tree with wish cards they prepared under the theme “My Expectations for the New Year.” Adding the flags of their home countries to the tree also brought a cultural touch to the activity. In this way, the New Year’s tree became a symbol of unity and togetherness among students from different countries.

Throughout the activity, which was filled with pleasant conversations, students both had fun and had the opportunity to build stronger connections with one another. As IGUN-TOMER, we were delighted to be part of these wonderful moments.
