IGUN-TOMER Participates in the Turkish Teaching Centers Council

IGUN-TOMER Joins the Founding Members of the “Council of Turkish Teaching Center Administrators”

As part of the establishment process of the “Council of Turkish Teaching Center Administrators,” which was proposed during the “1st Workshop for Administrators and Field Experts of Turkish Teaching Centers/Units of Higher Education Institutions” held in June, an online meeting was conducted on 19 August 2025.

IGUN-TOMER Director, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, attended the meeting, and our center became one of the founding members of this new structure.

The purpose of the Council is to ensure sustainable cooperation among institutions operating in the field of Turkish language teaching, to promote the sharing of best practices, and to contribute to the establishment of minimum standards aimed at improving instructional quality. Functioning as an independent and voluntary communication platform, the Council aims to create an important network of collaboration in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners.
