IGUN-TOMER Participated in the Meeting Shaping the Future of Turkish Language Education

A comprehensive information and sharing meeting was held on 31 July 2025 at the Headquarters of Maarif Foundation regarding the Maarif Turkish Textbook Sets, the Turkish Culture and Civilization Teaching Program, and the updated Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Program, all prepared within the scope of teaching Turkish as a foreign language.

The meeting was attended by administrators, academicians, and educators from various institutions, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Nerma ZAİMOVİC, Director of IGUN-TOMER, represented our university at the event.

During the event, new educational materials and teaching programs were introduced, and evaluations were made with participants regarding the applicability and impact of the programs in practice. The meeting served as an important platform aimed at contributing to the more effective and systematic teaching of Turkish at the international level.
