Celebrating May 19 at IGUN-TOMER

As part of the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day on May 19, students studying Turkish at different levels came together at IGUN-TOMER for an activity organized for the occasion.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in conversations about the historical significance of May 19, youth, and the importance of national unity and solidarity. Students also had the opportunity to learn more about Türkiye’s national holidays, sports culture, and cultural values.

The quiz competition organized during the event created colorful and exciting moments. By answering questions related to national holidays, the history of sports, and Turkish culture, students both reinforced their knowledge and enjoyed spending time together.

As IGUN-TOMER, we will continue to organize activities that support not only our students’ language development but also the enhancement of their cultural awareness.
