Prof. Dr. Kutluhan Bozkurt Chairs Scientific Committee

Prof. Dr. Kutluhan Bozkurt, Director of the EU Research and Application Center, served as Chair of the Scientific Committee at the international scientific conference titled “Framework Convention in International Law – International Scientific Conference,” held online on May 9, 2025.

At the same conference, Prof. Dr. Bozkurt also delivered a presentation titled:
“A planetary bill of rights: utopia or fightback against global warming?”

The event was organized by the Institute for Life, Environmental and Climate Sciences to mark the 33rd anniversary of the adoption of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The conference addressed current developments and proposed solutions in the global fight against climate change from the perspective of international law. It was held online via the Microsoft Teams platform.
