Coaching Education Department Students Presented Their TÜBİTAK-Funded Project at an International Conference
The TÜBİTAK 2209-A undergraduate research project conducted by the students of the Coaching Education Department made a valuable academic contribution by being presented at an international conference.
The study titled “Field Running Requires Greater Energetic Cost Above Ventilatory Thresholds Despite Matched Speeds” was presented as a poster at the BIOMECHANICS 2025 – International Conference of the Polish Society of Biomechanics, held in Poland between 22–24 October 2025, under the theme “Quality of Life in Interdisciplinary Approach.”
The project was led by third-year student Rana Can, with Furkan Murat Paça and Muhammed Doğukan Zenginserving as researchers. The study was conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Seyed Houtan Shahidiand supported by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) within the scope of the 2209-A Research Projects Support Programme for Undergraduate Students (Project No: 1919B01240899).
This achievement once again highlights our students’ scientific productivity and our Faculty’s strong academic vision at the international level.
