Visit to Keklik Catering for Mass Nutrition Systems Course

A technical visit to Keklik Catering was organized with our students as part of the Mass Nutrition Systems course conducted under the guidance of Dr. Lecturer Gonca Güzel Ünal, a faculty member of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Thanks to this trip, which provided an opportunity for on-site observation and practical learning, our students had the chance to learn about many subjects such as the operation of industrial kitchens, hygiene and sanitation practices, production planning, food transportation and distribution processes.

Following the informative presentations made by Keklik Catering officials, production areas were visited and detailed explanations were made about the processes. This practical learning process reinforced the course content and contributed to the increase in the students’ professional awareness.

We would like to thank the Keklik Catering team, who enabled us to observe the reflections of mass nutrition services in the field, and Dr. Lecturer Gonca Güzel Ünal, who organized this valuable organization.
