Gluten-Free Flavors Workshop was held

As the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Gluten-Free Flavors Workshop, which we organized to raise awareness about healthy and special diets, was successfully held. Our event was organized by Specialist Dietician İrem Erdem was the guest. Erdem, who is also the Nutrition Project Manager of Dr. Schär, a company known worldwide for its gluten-free products, shared her valuable experiences with our students.

Within the scope of the workshop, various gluten-free recipes were prepared together with our students from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics using gluten-free products provided with the contributions of Dr. Schär. In the practical event, both theoretical knowledge was reinforced and the tricks of gluten-free nutrition were experienced.

The event offered an inspiring learning environment for our students who want to learn about celiac disease, gluten intolerance and gluten-free nutrition. Participants had a rich experience in terms of both product knowledge and recipe applications.
