🔬 Study Summary: This research investigates the corrosion protection performance of St37 steel hooks used in GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) façade systems, coated using the Centrifuged Hot-Dip Galvanizing (CHDG) method. After 96 hours of salt spray testing under ASTM B117 conditions, the CHDG coatings demonstrated excellent resistance to corrosion, with no red rust formation. The ZnO layer formed on the surface provided self-healing capabilities and long-term protection.
