Article Title: Hydrothermally Synthesized Chitosan-SnO2-CuO Nanohybrids for Antimicrobial Surface Engineering of GFRC
In this study, hydrothermally synthesized chitosan-SnO2-CuO nanohybrids developed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ramazanoğlu were successfully functionalized onto a glass fiber-reinforced concrete (GFRC) matrix, resulting in significant enhancements in both physicochemical and antimicrobial properties. The results highlight the high potential of these nanohybrid coatings as a robust, multifunctional strategy for producing antimicrobial and thermally stable construction materials suitable for hygiene-critical environments such as hospitals and food processing facilities.
