Participation in ISO DIGITAL AI Launch Event

The launch event of “ISO Transformation Program with Artificial Intelligence in Industry (ISO DIGITAL AI)” was held on February 16, 2026, in Istanbul. The program, implemented by İstanbul Chamber of Industry with the support of İstanbul Development Agency, aims to accelerate the digital transformation processes of industrial companies by promoting the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence applications in industry. The event attracted significant participation from both academia and the industrial sector. Dr. Doruk Gürkan from our Department of Mechanical Engineering (English) attended the launch meeting and closely followed the latest developments in AI applications in industry. During the event, comprehensive information was shared regarding the Artificial Intelligence Impact Report and Ecosystem Map, AI Maturity Analysis and Roadmap Applications, as well as capacity-building activities prepared for industrial enterprises. Our University’s participation in the launch represents an important step toward strengthening university–industry collaboration and integrating AI-based production approaches into engineering education. The event concluded with an interactive networking session among participants.
