University-Industry Collaboration: A Strategic Protocol Between Our University and the Machinery Manufacturers Association

A University-Industry Cooperation Protocol has been signed between Istanbul Gedik University and the Machinery Manufacturers Association. Within the scope of the protocol signed by our Chair of the Board of Trustees Hülya GEDİK, Chairman of the Machinery Manufacturers Association Fatih İĞREK, and Treasurer Member Merve TORBALI DURUKAN, practical technical training programs will be organized for employees working in member companies of the association. At the end of the training, participants will be awarded certificates approved by the Ministry of National Education.

This step, taken to train the qualified workforce needed by the industry and to enhance the quality of vocational education, will not only strengthen the ties between the university and the sector but also offer new career opportunities for both young individuals and industry professionals.

We hope that this valuable cooperation will contribute to the development of the qualified human resources our industry requires and support our youth in improving their vocational competencies and employability. We believe this protocol will serve as a model for university-industry collaboration and mark the beginning of a productive and sustainable partnership for both institutions.
