Strong Participation from Our Department at the 8th National Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Congress

The 8th National Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Congress, organized by the Youth Commission of the Turkish Physiotherapists Association, was held on 5–6 December 2025 and hosted by Biruni University. The congress brought together students and academics from various universities across Türkiye to discuss current approaches, research developments, and professional growth opportunities in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Prof. Dr. Esra Doğru Hüzmeli, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Istanbul Gedik University, took part in the scientific program and successfully chaired the session titled “Current Approaches in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation.” Additionally, our faculty member Asst. Prof. Yasin Yıldırım contributed significantly to the scientific content of the congress with his presentation titled “Exercise and Neuromodulation.” Our 1st- and 2nd-year students also attended the congress, proudly representing our university.

We extend our gratitude to the Turkish Physiotherapists Association, Biruni University, and all academics and students who contributed to the organization of this congress. We are pleased to note that our department will continue to play an active role in national and international scientific events.
