Prof. Dr. Esra Doğru Hüzmeli Takes Part in a Project Awarded TÜBİTAK 1002 Support

The project titled “Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)-Based Prediction Model and Neurorehabilitation Recommendation System for Parkinson’s Disease,” in which Prof. Dr. Esra Doğru Hüzmeli, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Istanbul Gedik University, is involved, has been awarded funding under the TÜBİTAK 1002 – Rapid Support Program.

The project, coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Figen Eşmeli from İzmir University of Economics, aims to develop an artificial neural network-based prediction model for Parkinson’s disease and to establish a neurorehabilitation recommendation system based on the data obtained.

By integrating artificial intelligence-based methods with the field of neurorehabilitation, the project aims to contribute to the personalization of assessment and rehabilitation processes in Parkinson’s disease and to support clinical decision-making processes.
