Plaque Presented to Our CHAIR of the Board of Trustees, Hülya GEDİK, WITHIN the Scope of the IAHPEDS 2026 World Congress

The IAHPEDS 2026 World Congress, in which Istanbul Gedik University took part as one of the stakeholders, was held at the Turkish National Olympic Committee Olympic House between 24–28 June 2026.

The congress, co-chaired by Prof. Dr. Salih Pınar, IAHPEDS Middle East and Europe President and Dean of our Faculty of Sport Sciences, brought together academics, researchers, students, and stakeholders in the field of sport sciences from different countries in Istanbul.

Within the scope of the congress, a plaque was presented to our Chair of the Board of Trustees, Hülya Gedik, by the Rector of Istanbul Gedik University and our Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, Prof. Dr. Salih Pınar, in recognition of her contributions and support to the organization.

As Istanbul Gedik University, we are pleased to have been among the stakeholders of this important organization, which strengthened scientific knowledge sharing, contributed to international academic collaborations, and supported interdisciplinary interaction in the field of sport sciences.
