Our University Led the Energy Session at IRENEC 2025

At the 15th International 100% Renewable Energy Conference (IRENEC 2025), held at Istanbul Beykent University between May 14-16, 2025, our university’s Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan, chaired the session titled “Energy Modeling Applications and Energy Efficiency in Industry.” During this session, various energy modeling studies were presented and current developments were shared.

The conference was attended by our Mechanical Engineering faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Egemen Sulukan and Asst. Prof. Doruk Gürkan, Vocational School instructor Ceren Aydın, and our graduate student and instructor at Kocaeli University Hereke Asım Kocabıyık Vocational School, Ferit Artkın.

In the session, up-to-date research on energy system analysis, modeling, and industrial applications was conveyed. Additionally, the session planned as a special event for Istanbul Gedik University included a presentation introducing our university.

As the Faculty of Engineering at Istanbul Gedik University, we continue to contribute to the industry with our work in energy efficiency and renewable energy.
