İSTANBUL GEDİK UNIVERSITY RANKED FIRST IN TURKEY FOR UNIVERSITY–INDUSTRY COLLABORATION

The 2024 results published by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) Data Management System once again underscore İstanbul Gedik University’s prominent position in higher education. The data demonstrate the university’s consistent performance in academic output, educational quality, and institutional satisfaction.
In this context, İstanbul Gedik University achieved the highest ranking in Turkey in terms of the ratio of publications conducted through university–industry collaboration to total publications. This accomplishment serves as a tangible indicator of the university’s practice-oriented academic approach and its strong partnerships with the industry.
According to the 2024 YÖK data, İstanbul Gedik University also ranks:
  • 14th in satisfaction with the educational process,
  • 12th in satisfaction with academic staff,
  • 13th in digital accessibility,
  • 20th in the proportion of open-access publications.
İstanbul Gedik University continues to add value to higher education through its student-centered approach and its production-oriented vision focused on university–industry collaboration.
