Orientation Program Held by the Department of Sports Management

The Department of Sports Management at the Faculty of Sport Sciences, İstanbul Gedik Üniversitesi, organized an orientation program for first-year students of the 2025–2026 academic year. The event, held at the faculty, was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Turgay BİÇER, along with the academic staff. 

During the program, students were informed about the department’s academic structure, course contents, faculty members, and the overall education process. In addition, information was shared regarding post-graduation career opportunities, and social events. 

The purpose of the orientation was to help students adapt to university life, become familiar with the department’s functioning, and establish effective communication with academic staff.

The Department of Sports Management aims not only to provide students with academic knowledge but also to help them develop leadership, management, and communication skills, marking a motivated and promising start to the new academic year.
