Öğr. Gör. Huriye Zafera’s Book Becomes a Finalist at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards

The book titled “Şef’in El Kitabı: Toplu Beslenme Sistemlerinde Bilimsel Standardizasyon ve Dijital Dönüşüm” (The Chef’s Handbook: Scientific Standardization and Digital Transformation in Mass Catering Systems), authored by Instructor Huriye ZAFERA from the Culinary Arts Program of Istanbul Gedik University’s Gedik Vocational School, has been selected as a finalist in the 32nd Gourmand World Cookbook Awards, one of the prestigious international events in the world of gastronomy.

The book (ISBN: 978-625-8932-38-6) was selected as a finalist in the “A05 Food Professionals – Books” category following the evaluation process held in October 2026.

The competition, which received entries from 210 countries, will announce its award results at the award ceremony scheduled to take place in May 2027.
