Gedik University Faculty of Sport Sciences Demonstrates Strong Presence at the International Sports Sciences Congress

The academic staff of Istanbul Gedik University Faculty of Sport Sciences demonstrated substantial academic engagement at the 23rd International Sports Sciences Congress, held in Erzurum between 1–4 December 2025. Research Assistants Ebrar Şevval Coşkun, Tuğçe Yeşilçimen, Defne Ezgi Akkaya Boyraz, Koray Samet Altınçekiç, and Assistant Professors Halil Korkmaz and Seyed Houtan Shahidi presented a total of 12 oral papers, significantly contributing to the academic visibility of our faculty. Additionally, undergraduate student Rana Can from the Coaching Education Department, master’s student Şahabettin Karabulut from the Department of Physical Education and Sports, and doctoral student Mohammed Amer Alhasmuti from the Sport Sciences PhD Program actively participated in the congress with their oral presentations.

The participation of our academics and students in this important scientific event has made valuable contributions to the dissemination of up-to-date knowledge in the field of sport sciences, the strengthening of interdisciplinary academic collaborations, and the enhancement of our university’s scientific visibility at both national and international levels.
