“Gedik Is Where Exercise Happens” Events Energize Orientation Week at Istanbul Gedik University

Faculty of Sports Sciences, Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, organized an event titled “Exercise is Done at Gedik” with our students as part of the orientation program.

Supervised by Associate Professor Atakan Çağlayan, Assistant Professor Engin Işık Abanoz, and Research Assistant Ebrar Şevval Coşkun, our students practiced yoga and Pilates at the Halil Kaya Gedik Campus, preparing both their bodies and minds for the new semester and experiencing the privilege of being a Gedik student.

These enjoyable events supported our students’ adaptation process to the faculty while also contributing to their awareness of healthy living. The Department of Exercise and Sports Sciences, established in the 2024-2025 academic year, sent a message that it is ready for the new semester.
