FIRST PRIZE FOR ORAL PRESENTATION AT THE 3rd NATIONAL PRIMARY HEALTH CARE CONGRESS

Our Nursing Department at Istanbul Gedik University has been awarded the First Prize for Oral Presentation at the BİBAK 2026 3rd National Primary Health Care Congress, thanks to its successful TÜBİTAK project.

In the research conducted under the supervision of Research Assistant Fatma Toksöz Güneş from Marmara University, Department of Child Health and Diseases Nursing, and Assistant Professor Tuğçe Atak Meriç from our university’s Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing, our nursing students Nisanur Alim, Senanur Aytaç, and Sena Gençgül were granted the First Prize for Oral Presentation for their study titled:

“The Effect of Child Abuse Education Provided to Parents of Children with Disabilities on Parents’ Levels of Awareness of Sexual Abuse and Their Cognitions Regarding Child Abuse.”
