Assistant Professor Tuba ÇATAK’s Article Published in a Web of Science SCI-E Q1 Journal
The scientific article titled “Public Image of Nursing Among High School Adolescents in Türkiye: Implications for the Future Healthcare Workforce,” authored by Assistant Professor Tuba ÇATAK, Head of the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences at Istanbul Gedik University, has been published in a prestigious international journal indexed in the Web of Science SCI-E Q1 category.
The study examined high school adolescents’ perceptions of the nursing profession and the public image of nursing in Türkiye, highlighting the potential impact of these perceptions on the future healthcare workforce. The findings are expected to contribute to enhancing the visibility of the nursing profession, improving the understanding of factors influencing career choice, and supporting the planning of a qualified healthcare workforce for the future.
