A Season Full of Championships!

Istanbul Gedik University proudly made its mark in the 2024–2025 academic year with outstanding achievements in the field of sports. Our students represented our university in the best possible way by reaching the podium in numerous disciplines at both Istanbul and national-level interuniversity competitions.

Our athletes achieved remarkable success by winning numerous national first, second, and third places in football, foot tennis, taekwondo, athletics, kickboxing, and muay thai.

Taekwondo Turkish Championship
• 49 kg – 1st Place in Turkey
• 57 kg – 1st Place in Turkey
• 53 kg – 2nd Place in Turkey
• Discus Throw – 3rd Place in Turkey

Indoor Athletics Turkish Championship
• 1500 m – 2nd Place in Turkey
• Long Jump – 3rd Place in Turkey
• Shot Put – 3rd Place in Turkey

Kickboxing Turkish Championship
• 94 kg & 74 kg Kick Light – 1st Place in Turkey
• 57 kg & 55 kg Kick Light – 2nd Place in Turkey
• 48 kg K1 Rules – 2nd Place in Turkey
• 70 kg & 65 kg Kick Light – 3rd Place in Turkey

Muay Thai Turkish Championship (B Division)
• 67 kg – 2nd Place in Turkey
