Prof. Dr. Esra Doğru Hüzmeli Discussed Academic Visibility at the Pamukkale Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Symposium

The Pamukkale Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Symposium, organized by the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Pamukkale University between April 8–10, 2026, was successfully held with a comprehensive scientific program addressing current developments in the field. The symposium contributed to interdisciplinary knowledge exchange by covering contemporary topics, particularly the integration of technology into clinical practice, education, and research in physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Within the scope of the symposium, the course titled “Why Are Scientific Articles Accepted?” attracted considerable attention with its focus on academic publishing processes.

In this context, Prof. Dr. Esra Doğru Hüzmeli delivered a presentation titled “Academic Visibility,” emphasizing that producing scientific studies alone is not sufficient, and highlighting the critical importance of making these studies visible in the international literature and generating scientific impact.

This course, held as part of the Pamukkale Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Symposium, stood out as a guiding event that contributed to raising awareness of scientific publishing processes, particularly for early-career researchers and graduate students.
