Goniometer Ceremony in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

The fourth edition of the “Goniometer Ceremony,” a tradition established by the Istanbul Gedik University Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Gedik Vocational School Conference Hall.

This meaningful ceremony aims to support the development of professional identity in the field of physiotherapy and to offer our students a symbolic beginning on their professional journey. During the event, our fourth-year students will hand over their goniometers—symbolizing professional responsibility—to third-year students. At the same time, we will bid farewell to our graduating students, celebrating their symbolic transition into the profession.

With the participation of our academic staff and students, the ceremony seeks to strengthen professional belonging and enhance student motivation.
