Great Achievement from Our Coaching Education Department Student Semih Gümüş

The 34th Ahmet Cömert Bosphorus International Boxing Tournament, held between February 29 and March 5, 2026, with the participation of 15 countries, witnessed a remarkable achievement by İstanbul Gedik University Coaching Education Department student, Semih Gümüş. Demonstrating outstanding performance throughout the competition, Gümüş secured the championship title and achieved a significant success.

During the tournament, Semih Gümüş defeated his opponents from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Kyrgyzstan in succession, ultimately claiming the gold medal. By standing on the top of the podium, he proudly had the Turkish National Anthem performed, bringing great honor to his country and institution.
