Participation in the Chinese New Year Reception

On February 12, 2026, Lecturer Sibel Karabel, Director of the Asia-Pacific Research and Application Center at Istanbul Gedik University, attended the 2026 Chinese New Year Reception hosted in Istanbul by H.E. Wei Xiaodong, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Istanbul.

The meetings and exchanges held during the event once again highlighted the importance of cultural and diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
