Lecturer Sibel Karabel, Took Part in the International Workshop on Women in the Turkic World

The second International Workshop on Women in the Turkic World, hosted by Khazar University in Baku on 2–3 October 2025, was attended by Lecturer Sibel Karabel, Director of the Asia-Pacific Strategic Studies Research and Application Center, with Istanbul Gedik University among the institutional stakeholders of the event.

Within the scope of the workshop, Karabel contributed academically by presenting her paper entitled “Nezihe Muhiddin and the Women’s People’s Party.”

As a member of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Ayşin Şişman, Director of KAGİMER, delivered a presentation titled “Women’s Leadership and Entrepreneurship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Dr. Nilay Utlu conducted bilateral cooperation meetings regarding the activities carried out under KAGİMER.

Throughout the event, academic exchanges were held with women scholars from various countries of the Turkic world, and potential areas for joint research and future academic cooperation were discussed.
