The Istanbul Gedik University PhD Program in Political Science and Public Administration provides our students with advanced theoretical knowledge and skill development in their field, enhances their ability to conduct independent research and lead research teams, and enables them to contribute to science both nationally and internationally. Therefore, our goal is to equip our students with rich course content, enabling them to identify, define, collect data, analyze, and interpret social, economic, and political problems, and to apply appropriate scientific methods for these purposes. This program is open to anyone with a master’s degree or equivalent education obtained abroad, who is aware of the necessity of lifelong learning.
Our graduates work in various fields, including public sector positions such as district governorship, administrative judgeship, and diplomacy; as specialists, inspectors, managers, academics, and in various positions in both the public and private sectors.
