- The “We are aware of disasters” event was held.
Within the scope of HEM255 Disaster Management and Disaster Nursing course, our 2nd year nursing department students met with Asst.Proff. Tuğçe Atak Meriç at Kadıköy Municipality Disaster Education and Awareness Park; They participated in theoretical disaster awareness training and practical disaster preparedness training with fire simulation, earthquake experience room and 5D cinema.
Like all of Türkiye, Istanbul Gedik University students; We are aware of disasters, we are ready!

- May 12th – “Our Nurses, Our Future” Nursing Week Event
The Nursing Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Gedik University hosted our esteemed professors, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz DOĞAN MERİH, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet İNANGİL, and Asst. Prof. Günay ARSLAN as guests during the Nursing Week event. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz DOĞAN MERİH delivered a speech on “The Role of Innovation in Shaping the Future of Nursing,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet İNANGİL discussed “Virtual Care Applications,” and Asst. Prof. Günay ARSLAN presented on “The Patent Process in Nursing.” We would like to thank our professors for their participation.
