One of the best aspects of studying Architecture at Gedik University was receiving education from its solid faculty. Conducting classes with valuable and knowledgeable architects who have accomplished great works outside, engaging in various trips, conversations, and being able to communicate directly with instructors during practical classes to share thoughts are some of the significant advantages of the department. Shortly after graduating from Gedik University, I started working as a Construction Process Monitoring Specialist within Gedik Holding. I would like to emphasize that education is the most important thing in Architecture; and that Architecture education is much more challenging and lengthy than what you might think or hear. Since Architecture is an extremely dynamic profession, it’s not possible to learn everything about each topic in a few years of education, which is why the learning process needs to continue throughout your entire life. Istanbul, with its historical texture, constitutes an important part of architectural education and offers you extensive opportunities to improve yourself. I have full confidence that Istanbul Gedik University will maintain an environment that provides these opportunities to me and many of my colleagues in the future.

Throughout my university journey, I learned to start again from where you think it’s over and to look from different perspectives. Sometimes my ideas were liked, I stayed sleepless or criticized, but I didn’t give up; I constantly tried to do better. We know that making choices in life and progressing is very difficult, but those who are with you during that progress are very valuable. Not only in architecture but also in every decision I made, the difficulties I experienced and the successes I achieved were shared with my school and this family atmosphere, along with our esteemed professors who prepared us for our professional lives.
