About the Program
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is an associate degree program designed to train qualified personnel to meet the needs of both public and private sectors for AI-based solutions. The curriculum includes courses and applications in algorithm development, data analysis, machine learning, deep learning, model creation, image processing, and natural language processing. The courses are delivered by expert faculty members in appropriately equipped classrooms and laboratories, combining theoretical and practical training.
Mission
The mission of the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is to train qualified intermediate professionals who can understand and meet the requirements of artificial intelligence technologies demanded by the public and private sectors; who are capable of planning, designing, and developing AI systems; who can evaluate outcomes, think critically, uphold ethical values, and act with environmental awareness.

Objective
The objective of the program is to train technical staff who can optimize business processes in AI-related sectors, enhance operational efficiency, and design qualified automation and decision-support systems by effectively applying artificial intelligence technologies in their workplaces.
Goal
The goal of the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program is to cultivate qualified professionals who can develop applications that imitate human behavior and intelligence through data processing, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning methods in today’s increasingly digitalized world.

Vertical Transfer Opportunities
After completing the associate degree, students wishing to continue their undergraduate education may apply to bachelor’s degree programs specified in the Higher Education Regulations through the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
Who Can Apply?
Students with strong analytical thinking skills, an interest in technological developments, curiosity, a willingness to learn, practical thinking, a solution-oriented mindset, attention to detail, and teamwork skills are ideal candidates for the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program.
Placement into the program is carried out by ÖSYM (Student Selection and Placement Center) based on the results of the national higher education entrance examination in accordance with the Higher Education Regulations.
MEDEK Accreditation
The Artificial Intelligence Operator Program at Istanbul Gedik University is currently in the accreditation process conducted by MEDEK (Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association).
Post-Graduation Opportunities
Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program can work as qualified personnel in companies that develop and utilize AI solutions, as well as in R&D and innovation centers. They may also take on various roles in public institutions.
