Panel on Theoretical and Practical Dimensions of Violence Against Women

On November 26, we held our panel titled “Theoretical and Practical Dimensions of Violence Against Women” at our Kartal Campus, with remarkable interest and participation from our students. The panel was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Akçay Balcı.

Our guest speaker, Dr. Mazlum Doğan, a faculty member at the Faculty of Law, explored the issue from a legal perspective, addressing current regulations as well as protective and preventive mechanisms in detail.

The questions raised by our students once again revealed how urgent, complex, and deeply important this topic is.

This meaningful event created space for reflection, critical discussion, and a collective search for solutions, contributing to social awareness.
